Terms and Conditions of participation in the Aleph Institute Auction and Raffles: Participation in the Aleph Institute Auction (hereinafter referred to as Aleph Auction and Raffles) deems acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
Prizes will be awarded, and if the recipient is not present at the drawing, the recipient will be notified by email, phone, or in person, at Aleph's discretion. Tickets and prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Substitution of prizes or cash equivalent are allowed at Aleph's discretion only. By entering the Aleph Auction or Raffles, each participant releases Aleph and its agents from all responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize. Payment of federal taxes, state taxes, local taxes, surcharges, and delivery charges are the responsibility of the raffle recipient and will be paid by the recipient. The recipient is responsible for making arrangements to pick up the item(s) won in a timely manner.
Aleph is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Aleph Auction and Raffles, or by any human error that may occur in the processing of the orders in this Aleph Auction and Raffles. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Confirmation of your ticket (including number(s) where applicable) will be emailed upon receipt of your entry form and payment. You must save this email, as it will serve as your raffle ticket(s).
A printed copy of the email confirmation is required and must be presented to claim any prizes. Aleph reserves the right to substitute a cash prize or a similar prize of approximately the same value, at its own discretion, for any item offered at the Aleph Auction or Raffles.
When pictures are shown, the actual item may vary from the picture, which is used as a guideline. In the event that you win a prize or prizes, you accept all prizes "as is," with no warranty from Aleph. This does not affect the manufacturer's warranty if it exists. Most items donated to the Aleph Auction are brand new. However, Aleph does not attempt to determine if the items are, indeed, brand new. Aleph is unable to provide any kind of technical support. Aleph provides all the items in good faith. In the event that an item that was won proves to be faulty, Aleph will attempt to have it repaired or replaced by the donor. If this is not possible, Aleph limits its liability to the cost of the winning ticket, which Aleph agrees to refund if so requested. The drawing date, time, and location may be changed at the discretion of Aleph.
If any prize recipient cannot present the email confirmation (with the ticket number on it, when applicable) in order to claim their prize, or if there is any other circumstance in which the recipient cannot accept the prize, that recipient will be eliminated, and a new drawing will be held immediately, or as soon as possible thereafter. Proceeds will benefit the Aleph Institute.
